Week 1 (10th July - to 17th July) : A Look back

Today is Day 7 of my G Prep.
Days to go before G day : 92

Things have not gone as expected. I am not where I wanted to be. Maybe thats because, I did not properly define where I wanted to be :) Time to change that.

Status :
Completed the Powerscore Critical Reasoning Bible and little bit of the sentence correction (Aristotle Prep).

I have my first practice test scheduled on the 30th.  That leaves me 12 days.
This is what I want to do.

Plan for the next week or 10 days.  : (Day# 8 to Day# 20)
1) Complete detailed review of Powerscore Bible (and make notes)
2) Complete reading Aristotle SC Guide (and make notes)
3) Complete Practice problems in the Kaplan Math work book.
4) If possible work out the princeton Verbal work book.

GMAT Dates :
I checked the GMAT website and there are lots of dates availble from now through October. Will book my date after my first prep test. Need to know where I stand before I can take a call on how much time I need. 90+ days looks like a long time, but I am sure it will fly by.

Whats the big Idea?

Whats the big Idea?
Well the idea is simple. Take the GMAT and I am giving myself 99 days to prepare.

Like everyone else, I too was wondering how long it takes to crack the GMAT. Googled like crazy.. and found the answer... it depends.

It depends, on why you are taking the test, what you plan to do after the test, what do you hope to score, the list is endelss.
Any decent B-school would require a score of atleast 700, so I that is gonna be my target. Get more than 700.

Simply put : Prepare for GMAT in 99 days and score above 700.
